Hope into Action

Hope into Action provide temporary accommodation to homeless individuals within Nottingham city. Hope into Action is a registered charity whose unique purpose is to enable churches to house the homeless. Work began in summer 2010 with a handful of people passionate about changing homelessness in the city of Peterborough and it spread to Nottingham in 2013. We now have seven houses in Nottingham and work with 5 local Nottingham church’s.

Hope into action find people willing to invest in property which is then turned into supported accommodation for homeless people. Each home for 2 or 3 people is linked to a local church who provide community support. Hope into action provide tenants with a professional Empowerment workers who assist tenants to address the issues that led to them been homeless. Whilst they live with us we aim to equip our tenants with life skills which will enable them to more on to live independently.
